MEGAN ENGDAHL

CSW-PIP

I am from Sioux Falls, SD and received my Master of Social Work Degree from the University of South Dakota. My background is in social work and clinical psychotherapy. I have experience in working with adolescents and adults in individual, couples and group therapy. I utilize a variety of therapeutic styles and techniques to fit what works best for each client. I have also been fortunate enough to utilize telehealth services to see clients for therapy across SD.

Throughout my career, I strive to create a comfortable, safe and accepting environment for people to work through adversities and difficulties in their lives to become healthier and happier all around. I take a wholeness approach to wellness and help empower clients to use their strengths and abilities to achieve their goals and lead the lives they desire.
Some of my areas of expertise include working with issues related to anxiety, depression, self-esteem, life transitions, relationships, women’s health, chronic physical illness, bipolar disorder, stress management, trauma, borderline personality disorder, grief, postpartum depression/anxiety and more.

I also have experience in offering trainings and presentations to businesses, organizations and groups on topics related to mental health, stress management, mindfulness, conflict resolution and improving overall mental health and well-being for employees and leaders. I am always excited for opportunities to present to groups or companies of any size!
It is so important to me to approach each situation and client with a nonjudgmental viewpoint as we are all human beings who need a helping hand from time to time! From small issues to large dilemmas, you are not alone, and I would be honored to walk alongside you in your journey.
